Alex Ray used a fast start and held off Murray’s Gabe Turley to win the 100-yard butterfly at Monday’s Region I Meet at Hopkinsville High School. Ray trailed Turley, the defending region champion, by a half-second at the first turn but rallied to claim the win by .22 seconds with a time of 55.40 seconds.
